Architects, engineers, organizations convene for the Ecosan design manual |

A Roundtable Discussion on the Ecosan Design Manual was conducted last March 28, 2006 at the City State Tower Hotel, Manila, organized by the Knowledge Sharing component of the ISSUE Programme. Architects, engineers and related organizations were invited to the said discussion.
Legislative and regulatory issues on construction were discussed during the roundtable discussion. The Ecosan basic toilet design and components were also presented to the participants. The outline of the Ecosan design manual written by Arch. Christopher dela Cruz of the UAP was presented to the participants for comments. The Ecosan design manual will serve as a guideline for the construction of ecosan toilets in the Philippines. Suggestions like lobbying on the legislative and regulatory framework for Ecosan were raised during the discussion. |
